10th Annual Dodgeball Tournament & Toy Drive

Middletown - Middletown Rec held their 10th annual dodgeball tournament and toy drive at Croyden Hall. After participating in similar events during graduate school, Middletown Rec Director Janet Dellett wanted to meld that same unique excitement with the chance for participants to help those less fortunate in the community during the holiday season. This year saw 42 teams donate approximately 420 toys. These unwrapped toys will be given to Middletown social services and then distributed to families in need. Teams were split up based on grade and even local administrators and committeemen took a turn on the court in the adult bracket. The real winners of this tournament are the many kids who’ll have a brighter holiday.
